Non-Leached Standard Standard

Residual cobalt remains inside the diamond layer. High thermal expansion of cobalt causes micro-fractures above 750°C.

  • Max Temp: ~750°C
  • Wear Mechanism: Normal Abrasive Wear

Deep Leached Cutter High Performance

Cobalt removed from working tip. Eliminates cobalt thermal expansion differential, allowing the cutter to sustain extreme frictional heat without thermal spalling.

  • Best for: Abrasive Sandstone, Geothermal & Basalt
  • Max Temp: Up to 1150°C
